Rya von Rydal is a gorgeous 3-4 year old German Shepherd of medium energy. A lady of charming temperament, she comes out of the kennel calmly, happy to be outside and meet other dogs. Not in the least lacking in social graces, beautiful Rya proves that brains and charm are not mutually exclusive but rather complement each other; she generally meets both canines and people with an easy acceptance and is a pleasure to walk. She is very affectionate with her humans and can be very goofy and playful, as well as a big cuddle bug. Rya also does well in playgroups, entering calmly, and happy to socialize with the other dogs. Once the introductions are over, she is ready for the games to begin. She and her son Ryu came together, but we will  consider single placements as well. (They do well with each other, but may bark at other dogs when out together on walks.) An award-winning social butterfly, this beauty is more than ready for her forever home, either near or far.
